Walter Mazzarri refuses to scold Troy Deeney

Walter Mazzarri refuses to scold Troy Deeney for the disco incident that happened last night.

As per the coach, he has had a chat with his player who let him know the circumstances that led to the incident and after hearing him; he didn’t feel as if he was at fault at all.

Continuing further, Mazzarri opines that if someone’s name has been in a controversy in the past, it doesn’t mean he has lost his rights to hang out with his partner. It just needs to be understood that everyone has a personal life and it depends on them what they want to do with their personal lives. They should be given their own space.

In Mazzarri’s view, as soon as Deeney made it clear to that person that he was not interested to be photographed at that point in time, he should not have been pushed to do so because it’s not mandatory for a celebrity to agree for a photo whenever someone asks him for that. Read more…

CONTE: WE HAVE A SYSTEM THAT WORKS

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has called on his Chelsea players to maintain their momentum after securing their tenth consecutive Premier League win.

The Blues guaranteed they‘d be top of the English premier league table at Christmas by defeating David Moyes’ Sunderland 1-0 at the Stadium of Light.

The victory continues their amazing turnaround from last season’s disappointing performance. Chelsea finished the 2015/16 campaign in 10th place following a stunning fall from grace. However, they now look on course to reclaim the title, which they last won under Jose Mourinho 18 months ago.

Conte is determined to ensure his Stamford Bridge stars do not become complacent though. The Italian cautioned them against complacency, demanding that they continue their current run in a bid to taste success once again.

Ilkay Gundogan is available

Ilkay Gundogan has been one of the players that Arsenal has been attempting to sign for some time now and it has recently been revealed that the German club is willing to let the 25 year old player leave Borussia Dortmund.

This is great news for Arsenal as the Premier League club is one of the squads that have shown more interest in securing the services of the highly rated German midfielder and now Arsene Wenger can indeed sign him but they will have to splash around £23million.

£23million is believed to be the price tag of the German player but this price will certainly increase considering that there are other clubs that are also interested in signing Gundogan and the club that offloads most cash has the bigger chance of snatching him up.

Since the start of the season, Arsenal appeared to be one of the front runners on winning the Premier League title of this season as they were consistently claiming victories and have managed to stay in the top spots of the English League but things began to fall apart after losing against Manchester United and Swansea City.

These recent defeats might cost Arsenal the Premier League title. In order for Arsenal to have any chance of becoming the new champions of England, they will have to win every single of their remaining league games as well as hope that Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City start dropping points.

If Arsenal is not able to win the Premier League title in this season, they are still able to boost their chances of doing it in the next season and by signing Ilkay Gundogan can surely help out Arsene Wenger and his team of winning the Premier League of doing it next year.
