Chelsea manager and coach Maurizio Sarri has come forward and talked about the conflict between the club and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga following the its defeat to football club Manchester City in the finals of the Carabao Cup.
The controversy puts the club in a tough position specially when we all witnessed how the club was having a fine start in the Premiere League. The conflict arose when Kepa did not let himself be substituted in the extra time. This angered the coach and he instantly shouted at the staff following which he even tore his clothes and marched away towards the tunnel in front of the cameras. Although, Maurizio did come back to the touchline in a while.
Later, defender Antonio Rudiger held back Sarri when he attempted to confront the goalkeeper just before the penalty shootout post which Manchester won the game with a score of 4-3.
